Thank you from the Be Well Co team

Wishing you all a wonderful Festive Season.

It’s that time of year where we reflect on our achievements, our learnings and most of all our impact.

In a time of continued uncertainty, we are reminded of how important it is to take care of our mental health and that of those around us. We are proud to play an important role in positively impacting the mental health of thousands of Australians, thanks to the ongoing support of our network and partners.

2021 has been a big year for us, most notably with the official launch of Be Well Co, the next step in expanding our reach and impact across society. This was a proud moment for us to celebrate this milestone last month and hear from key partners the difference we have made.

In terms of our impact, over the past year we have:

  • Had over 8,800 measurements undertaken using the Be Well Tracker

  • Worked with 30 organisations and project partners across Australia to deliver our suite of services including Measurement Insight Reports, Be Well Plan training and our Mobile App launched earlier this year. Our projects include workforces across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, first responders, health workers, small business owners, university students, disability carers and other vulnerable groups.

  • Trained 38 individuals to become Be Well Plan Certified Trainers across Australia who are delivering our offerings to their networks.

  • Launched the Be Well Plan Mobile App with over 1,000 downloads to date.

  • Published six research papers outlining the impact of our work on improving mental health outcomes across society, plus two more on the way to being submitted including a Randomised Control Trail for the Be Well Plan.

  • Welcomed two new team members, Natalie (Project Manager) and Ben (Software Developer) and are currently hiring for a BD/Sales Representative to help us continue to expand our footprint interstate. We also celebrated key achievements including Stuart (Master Trainer) completing his Psychology honours thesis, Matt (Researcher) currently completing his PhD submission and Natalie (Project Manager) being accepted into a Masters of Psychology-Health.

These achievements would not have been possible without working in partnership with our network of trainers, clients and supporters and we would like to extend a special thanks to the following organisations who we have worked with across 2021:

  • AHPRA

  • Air Combat Group

  • Air Mobility Group

  • Bank Australia

  • Central Adelaide Local Health Network

  • City of Adelaide

  • Datacom

  • Department for Correctional Services

  • Department for Social Services: NDIS ILC Project

  • Department of Innovation and Skills

  • Department of Treasury and Finance

  • Flinders University

  • Flourish Australia

  • Go Go Foundation

  • Heathcote Health

  • James and Diana Ramsey Foundation

  • Mitsubishi

  • RAA

  • SAPOL

  • Sarah Constructions

  • Tenison Woods

  • Village Roadshow

  • Westpac

Looking ahead into 2022, we have a number of exciting things in store. We will continue to develop our training and technology offerings to deliver value to our clients and users as we further scale our impact nationally. We will also commence the process of attracting investment to assist in funding the expansion of our work.

Until we connect again in 2022, we wish you all a safe break and time to connect with your loved ones.

Monique, Joep and the Be Well Co team.
