OUR Focus

The Invisible

30% of your people have low wellbeing: they don’t feel optimal but show no signs of mental illness. These people are not picked up by the usual risk assessments.

They are at up to 8x greater risk of developing more serious problems.  This comes at a huge cost including low productivity, presenteeism, absenteeism and potential longer-term psychological injury claims.

Many of these instances can be prevented by focussing on wellbeing and mental health

We can help you target a large ‘invisible’ at-risk group of people costing your organisation

Tackle
distress

At any given time your organisation will have 20% of your people showing problems with mood, anxiety and stress.

Accessible interventions exist that go beyond  the presence of distress to providing people with skills to deal with mild to moderate symptoms.

These offerings perfectly complement your existing offerings such as EAP or your psychology service.

Tackle distress in your people head-on without the stigma

A pro-active approach

Providing people with skills to safeguard and build good mental health is just as important as responding to risk factors.

This will 1) help keep them feeling fulfilled both in and out of the workplace with flow on benefits to the business and 2) prevent them from developing more serious problems.

Tailoring wellbeing skills to your employee’s unique needs ensures they keep the habits going and continue to flourish.

Look beyond symptom recognition and focus on building

Our evidence based solutions help you measure, track and sustainably build the mental health of your people.

“I am not typically someone who has engaged with a lot of mental health offerings in the past. A key take away for me was learning that there is a difference between mental illness and mental health.

This helped to open my eyes and gave me more perspective that everyone can benefit from building their mental health and showed how we can better support those experiencing illness”

About Us

Be Well Co Pty Ltd is a spin-out from the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). We were set up to translate the research that SAHMRI and their collaborators (including Flinders University) conduct on the Be Well Plan and the Be Well Tracker. We are an independent organisation, but are still strongly tied to research institutes, with a portion of proceeds feeding back into vital research into mental health and wellbeing.
