Honest conversations about what wellbeing at work actually looks like, from leaders across sport, government, corporate, and community sectors.
Fruit for Thought is an intimate panel event series that brings together leaders from different industries for honest conversations about what actually works — and what doesn't — in workplace wellbeing.
Speakers from sport, government, tech, community services, healthcare and more, all sharing from lived experience, not slides.
Small rooms by design. Space for real networking, follow-up conversations, and connections that last beyond the event.
Hosted by Be Well Co's team of researchers and practitioners, grounding the conversation in evidence without losing the human element.
By coming along, you're helping us raise funds for Camp Quality, supporting kids facing cancer across Australia.
The conversations were honest, a little uncomfortable at times, and genuinely useful.

Leaders are often blind to whether they've actually created psychological safety. They believe they have, but don't realise what's being filtered out before it reaches them.
People don't resist change, they resist being changed. The story you tell yourself about a setback determines whether you become a victim or take ownership.
Clarity is not the same as certainty. Leaders wait until they have all the answers before communicating, but people just need to know uncertainty exists, and a timeline for when more will be known.
The first step in psychosocial safety is simple: ask your people what's wrong. If they're not telling you voluntarily, you probably don't have psychological safety yet.
The "boring" primary controls are where the real dial-moving happens, clear roles, effective relationships with leaders, and regular one-on-ones. Less exciting than a fruit bowl. More effective than almost anything else.
Transitions aren't just endpoints. Every new role, new team, or new environment is a transition moment. Getting explicit about those moments, before, during and after, is where the real wellbeing work happens.
We also host regular online Fruit for Thoughts — one expert, one topic, 45 minutes. Free to join, recorded for those who can't make it live.
We run in-person events twice a year across Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne, plus regular online sessions. Drop your details and we'll reach out when the next event opens.
